LONNIE ANDREW ELLIOT

Lonnie Andrew Elliott was born February 10, 1934, in Hand, Arkansas. He is survived by Myrna his wife for 28 years nine children Shon Elliott, Paul & Aurora Elliott, Corey & Carol Elliott, Lisa Lee, Mark and Julie Helm, Chad Smithson, Nancy & Mike Champlin, James & Reggie Smithson, Russell & Kristie Smithson their 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Lonnie’s siblings, Rachel Lippencott, Isabel Gibson, and Dale Elliott. 

Lonnie served in the army and was stationed in Korea. His unit made him their unofficial chaplain. He was a carpenter and graduated from college of the sequoia‘s with carpentry degree his specialty was finish work. He loved horseshoe pitching, Fastpitch softball, and playing table games, but his passion was singing. He sang for weddings, funerals, and anywhere he could be of service. He led congregational singing for each church. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He led singing from the age of 13 until three days before his entering heaven. His church family will greatly miss him and his singing was like

None other filled with joyful hymns. Most of all Lonnie was a faithful Christian and was a member at the Kingsburg Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held on February 5, 2026 at 11 in the morning at the Tulare Church of Christ 500 North Blackstone St. the viewing will be at Peers-Lorentzen funeral home on February 4, 2026 from 4 to 7 PM.
