LULA BELLE PARKER

February 7th, 1939 – April 11th, 2025. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2025, surrounded by her family. Lula Belle “Lou” Parker, age 86 was born February 7th, 1939, in Marble Hill Missouri to Jess and Sarah Edith Pulliam. Lou was the 2nd youngest of 7 children. At the age of 13 she moved to California and built her life.

Lou met the love of her life, John Parker and married in 1963. They started their family after John served his country in 1968.  Lou was eager to be a wife, mother and homemaker. Her passions were playing the guitar and singing with John and their friends, working in the yard and sitting behind her sewing machine. She also loved to bowl with her league in the 80’s and had a 200-point average game. She spent many days and hours supporting the TUHS Band Boosters during her children’s high school years.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Lynne Parker McLean and Tammy Yvonne Parker Woods along with her 6 grandchildren: Hannah Emily Parker, Luke Elliot Parker, Ewan Morgan McLean, Mark Aksel Woods, Farrah Sinead McLean and Drake Parker Woods, her sisters, Effie Parker and Mary Crowder. She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that became her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John Wayne Parker and her son Robert “Dino” Dean Parker, and her parents Jess and Sarah Edith Pulliam and her 4 brothers Dutch, Wiz, Junior and Russel.

As a self-taught seamstress her talents ranged from altering clothes, making the TUHS auxiliary uniforms throughout the 1990’s and car interiors. She was best known for her creativity in upholstery. She worked with interior decorators to design homes redoing furniture, drapes and pillows. When Lou put her mind to it, she could accomplish anything.

Lou thought of her grandchildren as the greatest gifts in life. She gave them all love and knew exactly how to care for and nature each one. She loved her grandchildren immensely caring for them from infancy to middle school and cherished each moment with them, guiding them to have their own personal relationship with Jesus. She was a dedicated faithful woman, praying daily and reading the bible. Sitting at her kitchen she loved talking about the Lord.

Lou had the love of so many people. She has such a pure, beautiful soul and was adored by her family and friends. She put everyone above herself and would do anything for anyone in need of help.  Lou’s gentle spirit touched so many lives. We are forever grateful for the joy and love she brought into our lives. STACY McREYNOLDS

Our beloved Stacy Gay (Slagle) McReynolds, aged 65, of Visalia, California, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Kaweah Delta Medical Center.  Born in Hereford, Texas on July 29, 1959, she was the daughter of Stanley Ryle Slagle and Novella Ruth (Arrington) Brown.  Stacy was the middle child of three siblings and shared her early years with older sister, Monica Ruth and younger sister, Stana Lee.

Stacy resided in Texas, New Mexico, Alaska, Oklahoma and moved to Visalia in 1987. While in junior high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stacy ran track and field and could run like the wind.   In Visalia she worked as a manicurist for years where she made and kept lifelong friends. She was creative, expressive, fashionable and flamboyant!!  She loved all music and adored playing the guitar and harmonica for herself and others. Her favorite, was to sit with the children and grandchildren while strumming out a tune she created, just for them, in a matter of minutes.  Stacy dearly loved any animals, especially dogs. While evangelizing the homeless, over the past year, she would take dog and cat food along with her to make sure they were fed as well. Stacy’s biggest love was people. She loved helping others and was a counselor/sponsor of many over the years in AA and NA.  She always said, “Everyone matters!!”  Her friends and family remember her most as always being so much fun.  When she walked through the door, the party started, and she would fill the room with her joyful personality, beautiful smile and silly giggles and laughter!!  She was vibrant, confident and strong-willed. Stacy was, most importantly, a Christian who knew the Lord and was baptized on Easter Sunday in 2024.   She loved to take others along with her to church to share the gospel.  Stacy will be greatly missed by so many friends and family, but we know in our hearts that she is safe in the arms of Jesus and resting in sweet peace.

Was beautifully welcomed into this earthly world on June 21, 1934, and guided by the hands of Angels into her heavenly kingdom on March 20, 2025

Our beautiful beloved mother Alicia lived 90 years by Gods Grace. She was the eldest daughter of Joe and Dominga Castellanoz.  Life long resident of Tulare, CA. She loved kittens and puppies and fragrances of her floral garden. She liked to hum and sing a favorite tune now and then.

Married Juan “John” Arriola which soon gave her a son Reynaldo who sadly passed on his second day.  MariaElena was born, John next, then a few years later Teresa. Regarded as Castellanoz Family Matriarch Alicia was a no nonsense disciplinarian, though she was much respected by the family.  Capturing a smile so illusive when caught was a magical moment.  Agriculture work throughout the state was hard on the strongest man let alone a young teenager.  Yet she did it.
