CURT ANDERSON WHITE

Curt White, a long time resident of Tulare, CA passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 73. He was born on September 17, 1951 on the Port Hueneme, Naval Base, Hueneme, CA to Clarence (Red) White and Oneida (Bakken) White.

Curt Attended E.O. Green Jr. High School where he met his future wife Carol Robnett. He also attended Hueneme High school and he and Carol both graduated in 1969.

He married the love of his life, Carol, on June 3, 1972. They eventually settled in Tulare in 1976 and raised their family in the community.

Curt was hired as a Tulare City Firefighter in 1978. He often said the moment he stepped foot on the Apparadise Floor of the City of Tulare Headquarters Fire Department, he knew he was home. He was a proud fireman and went on to retire as a Fire Captain after 31 years of service. Forever becoming the hero of our family.

In Curt’s youth he enjoyed playing Little League Baseball. In high school he was a team member of the football and wrestling team. Then went on to manage and play men’s softball with a very competitive spirit. Curt helped coach his sons and many others to become great wrestlers. In earlier years you’d find him in the gym working out or teaching spin classes. He was also an Avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his sons, son-in-law, grandsons, family and friends. You’d often find him on the Tulare Golf course playing or volunteering. Curt loved to talk and engage with people and made friends easily. We as a family were fortunate enough to hear his life stories and positive words of encouragement.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law James Robnett, mother-in-law Ethel (Dodson) Robnett, son Gary White, grandson Jaxston Rasico, his brother Larry White, sister Garni Tarazon and his sister Darci Nuby.
