MARTHA HENDERSON

Martha was born to William and Nellie Murch in Tulare, California on January 4, 1943.  Her father, mother four (4) brothers, Harvey, Leary, Chester, and Charles Murch; and nine (9) sisters, Opal Wall, Lavona Dearman, Laverne McLoaughlin, Marie Goff, Rene Sanders, Viola Watkins, Nellie Davis; the twins, Gerldine and Earlene Murch, preceded her in Death.

She attended elementary, middle, and high school in Tulare, California.  She Graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1960.  She got married to her husband, William, in 1961.

Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed doing a few crafts.  She also loved to go camping with her family, and spend time with them.

Martha leaves us to cherish her memory, her husband, William Henderson; her son, Steve Henderson of Tulare, her daughter, Brenda Barton, of Visalia.  Four Grand-children; Derek Henderson, Jaclyn Gonzales, Heather Hamerslagh, and Terry Orona; ten (10) great grand-children.  She Also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Martha was loved dearly by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grand-children, and friends.  While we are very heartbroken and will miss her so much, we are at peace knowing she is with our Lord/Savior and your mother, father, brothers, and sisters.  We look forward to the day we will be reunited in heaven. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.  

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Tulare District Cemetery at 11:00am.
