DEBBIE SPARKS (BEESLEY)

Debbie Sparks (Beesley), age 72, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, in Bakersfield, California. Born on March 18, 1953, in Hanford, California, Debbie was a lifelong Tulare resident. Early family gatherings at her grandparents’ built very strong relationships with her extended family.

Debbie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. She cherished her son, Shannon Sparks (Julie), and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Tera Darlinton, Tyler Sparks, and Maddie Sparks as well as her great-granddaughter, Adalyn Darlinton, and baby boy Darlinton, due May 2026. 

Family was everything to Debbie. She remained extremely close with her Beesley family throughout her life. Among those dearest to her was her cousin Verna, who was more like a sister than a cousin. Debbie also shared strong bonds with her sisters Darla Nations, Donna Butler, and Karla Baker (David), relationships that brought strength and comfort through the years. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Delmas and Fern Beesley; her sister, Donna Butler; brother-in-law, Duane Nations; and Archie Sparks, her former husband of 42 years. 

Debbie’s warmth and devotion left an indelible mark on those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. 

A Visitation will be held on February 5, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Peers Lorentzen. A Memorial Service will be held on February 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM at Peers Lorentzen, located at 132 West Kern Avenue in Tulare, California.
