LUPE M. CARMONA

Lupe Mancilla was born May 7, 1926, in Visalia, CA.  She was raised in Tulare, CA, by her parents Luis and Gregoria Mancilla, along with five siblings, Mary, Anthony, Jesus (Susie), Joseph, and Mercedes.  She married Louis M. Carmona on November 27, 1955, at St. Rita’s Church. 

They moved to Southern California and raised their family in Huntington Park, in Los Angeles County.  Lupe is survived by son Louis Albert, 67, and wife Trini; daughter Helen, 61, and son-in-law Gary Johnson.  Lupe had four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews spread throughout the U.S. 

Lupe joined Louis, her parents, and siblings, in heaven on March 5, 2024.  Lupe’s funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at St. Rita’s Church, with visitation at 9:00, Rosary at 9:30, and Funeral Mass at 10:00. Followed with a Burial at the North Tulare Public Cemetery.
