JOSEPH JOHN THOMAS RUSSO II
Joseph liked spending his time with friends and family. Family BBQs were always a good time for playing cornhole, horseshoes, and darts and family game nights playing Left, Right, and Center. He was an avid SF 49er fan, SF Giants fan, and Chicago Bulls fan. He liked drawing portraits of people. One of his best was a wall portrait of his Daughter Delilah. He also drew a door poster of Michael Jordan. Joseph liked playing Casino games on his phone and at local Casinos. Liked fishing and played Little League Baseball, coached by his Uncles. Josephs’s first car was a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. He loved detailing his cars and keeping his stereos top-notch. Loved his pets and always had a pit bull.
Joseph worked at Coelho Meats, Hanford for many years. Worked for the Transit Center in Visalia. Janitorial work at the Galaxy Theater. Had other multiple side jobs. Joseph also worked Transporting and selling cattle with one of his good friends Stan.
Joseph is preceded in death by his Father Joe Russo. Joseph is survived by his Mother, Mary Hernandez of Tulare. Joseph had two sisters Elidia Russo and Laura Russo both of Tulare. His two Brothers Adrian Russo and Thomas Russo of Hanford. Joseph left behind 4 Sons, Joseph Russo III, Joseph Matthews, Adin Russo, and Felipe Lopez all of Tulare. Daughters, Beighbi Jo Russo, Delilah Russo, Nevaeh Jo Russo, and Kalayah Jo Russo all of Tulare. Joseph also had two Grand Children Jarvis Roberts and August Russo of Tulare. Joseph is also survived by his girlfriend of many years Francis Ortega. Joseph had many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and lots and lots of friends. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Services will be held at Peers- Lorentzen Funeral Chapel 132 W. Kern Ave. Tulare. Held on Dec 6th. Visitation from 8:30 – 10 AM and Service will begin at 10 AM. Gathering for family and friends to be announced at service.

FRANCISCO GONZALEZ
Francisco was born in Visalia, California on September 16, 1991. He passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Porterville, California at the age of 33.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00pm Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare, California. A Rosary will begin at 6:00pm during the visitation.

CAROLYN J. DAVIS
Carolyn was born in Tulare, California on June 21, 1946. She passed away Sunday, November 24, 202,4 in Tulare, California at the age of 78.

SAMMY RAY CLINTON
Sam Clinton, 81. Passed away at Hospice House after a brief illness. He is survived by 3 children, Don Clinton (Teresa), Sondra Cortez (Joe) and Erin Brown (Nathan) and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sam graduated from TUHS in 1961 where he had been part of the work experience program. Attending trade school to learn refrigeration and home appliance repair which was his vocation most of his life. He worked for Gordon’s Electric for 43 years. Sam was born in Santee, Ca., to Chester Clinton and Gleola (Gilliland) Clinton in 1942. The family moved to Tulare just before Sam’s senior year of high school. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent time with his brothers, Larry and Shorty. They also had motorcycles and enjoyed summertime rides.
Sam is predeceased by his parents, brothers, and wife, Josephine. On December 4th at 1:00 p.m., we will celebrate the life of Sam Clinton at the North Tulare Public Cemetery with graveside services. Arrangements are through Peers Lorentzen Funeral Services in Tulare.

BILLIE JO ANTHONY
Billie Jo Anthony was born on October 4, 1930, and departed this life on November 21, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to James and Sarah Scott Philpot. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Anthony, and all her siblings, Thurman Philpot, Helen Van Hooser, Pellie Condon, Floyd Philpot, Peggy Henry, James Philpot, and Ray Philpot, and her daughter, Sandra Darwish. She is survived by her children, Patricia Davis, Pam Anthony, and Michael Anthony. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Wendy Sear, Casey Sosa, Angela Guerrero, Jared Taylor, and Jill Darwish, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Billie came to California with her parents at the age of four months, riding in a truck filled with all their belongings, during the Dust Bowl migration. Her parents first settled in Selma, CA. Her father was a farmer and carpenter and the family moved a lot during Billie’s childhood. She would reminisce about all the many moves she made growing up.
Billie went to school in Tulare and the surrounding area and graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1949. She went to work for both the El Rey and State Theatres in Tulare. It was while working at the theatre that she met Richard Anthony, who was in the U.S. Navy at the time. She said she saw him from the candy counter and fell in love as soon as she saw his blue eyes. Their first date was at a wrestling match. He proposed at Mooney’s Grove and they were married on May 17, 1950, just two months after they met. They made their home in Tulare and were married almost 68 years.
Billie worked various jobs throughout her life. She worked in the office at Tagus Ranch early on. Later she was employed by Peg’s Draperies and then Thompson Nursery. Billie also did the bookkeeping for her husband’s business, R & M Farms, Inc. Billie was best known, however, for being a wonderful cook. She and Richard would often host dinners and parties for friends and family and she thoroughly enjoyed cooking her delicious recipes for everyone. It was a treat to be a guest at her table.
Billie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her. Billie had the most beautiful smile and smiled often. She was a beautiful lady with a wonderful outlook on life. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at TLC Assisted Living Facility for the care they have given Billie the last three years.
A funeral service will be held on December 2, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare, CA, with visitation at 9 a.m. and burial at Tulare Public Cemetery.

MARGARET LINDA CASTILLO
Margaret Linda Castillo, 82 of Farmersville, California passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Visalia, California. Linda was born in Abilene, Texas to Thomas and Anita Mendoza. The family moved from Texas to Tipton when she was 1 year old. Linda was raised in Tulare, California with her 8 siblings.
Linda is survived by her husband Jorge Castillo and her children: Marleene (James) Fonvergne and Magdalyn (Scott) Lopez; granddaughter: Alyssa (Richard) Lopez; great-grandchildren: Izabela Guzman, Alexander Guzman, Sophia Lopez, and Olivia Lopez. Linda was preceded in death by her sons George Castillo, Jr., and Carlo Castill,o and grandson Jeremiah Longoria.
Linda was a proud graduate of Tulare Union High School, class of 1960 and attended COS. Linda was a homemaker but in the late 1970’s she and Jorge opened George’s U Serv Mart at Cairns Corner in Lindsay, California. They owned and operated the business for over 25 years. For the past 20 years, Linda had her own house-cleaning business. Linda enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, softball, aerobics and running. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda had a beautiful smile and spirit, strong faith, and a golden heart. Linda was kind to everyone she met. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Linda’s daughter Marleene Fonvergne, son-in-law James, daughter Maggie Lopez, and granddaughter Alyssa Lopez made sure her last days were full of love and comfort. Linda is graciously looking down from Heaven and thanking her daughter Marleene and son-in-law James for the exceptional care and love they provided to her during her battle with cancer. A celebration of life for Linda will be held in December for family members only.

Angela was born in Texas on May 31, 1935. She passed away Friday, November 15, 202,4 in Orange Cove, California at the age of 89.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 202,4 from 8:30 to 9:00 am, with a Rosary to begin during Visitation at St.Isidore The Farmer Church-Orange Cove, California.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Visitation and Rosary in the church starting at 9:00 am.
Final Resting Place- Smith Mountain Cemetery, Dinuba, California.
