MARY ROSE DOMINGUEZ
Mary Rose Dominguez, age 92, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on March 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Mary was born April 28, 1932, to Paul and Eulalia Guerrero in Apache, Oklahoma. She attended Tulare Union High School, class of 1949. After high school, she attended Federico Beauty College. On September 24, 1950, Mary married her high school sweetheart, Joe O. Dominguez.
In her early years of marriage, with Joe being deployed in the Korean War, Mary worked in a hair salon, was courageously employed as a police dispatcher, and started her lifelong endeavour of helping others by working as a therapist at Kings Mental Health.
Mary, more commonly known as Rosie to all her loved ones, enjoyed a faith-filled life of playing board games such as Skipbo, Scrabble and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. Some of her greatest memories are vacationing with her family at Camp Fresno, Dinkey Creek, and the Central Coast. Rosie could often be found listening to Andrea Bocelli, watching Christian-based television shows, or enjoying a good baseball game with her Giants.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eulalia Guerrero; her husband, Joe Dominguez; brother Armando Guerrero; brother John Guerrero; daughter Deanna Stanley, and sons Steven Dominguez and David Dominguez. She is survived by her son Dan Dominguez, wife Gina; son Michael Dominguez, wife Barbara; son John Dominguez, wife Lucy; son Mark Dominguez, wife Teresa; and daughter Lisa Costa, husband Douglas, sister Celia Quintero, husband Al. She also leaves behind the love of 24 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on April 1, 2025 at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel in Tulare, Ca from 4:00-7:00 P.M. A rosary will be held in her honor at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel on April 1st, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. A catholic church service will take place April 2nd, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 954 S. O. St. Tulare, California. Interment will follow at North Tulare Cemetery.
