ROY GAONA
Roy Gaona passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 56 years of age. He was born April 1, 1969 to Gilberto and Juana Gaona in Camarillo, California. He was the third oldest of nine children. From a young age, he dedicated his life to working hard and setting the example for his siblings. Along with his strong work ethic, Roy shared his passion for football with his family. He led his family as a die-hard 49ers fan. Roy was a very family-oriented man and loved to spend time with his loved ones. He is survived by his parents, Juana and Gilberto; his wife Tula; son, Roy Jr.; Daughter-in-law, Briana; grandson, Samuel; three brothers, Gilberto, Fransisco, and Jose; five sisters, Elizabeth, Eloisa, Martha, Claudia, and Adriana. His loving and animated personality will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service located at 132 W. Kern Avenue Tulare, CA with rosary to take place at 6:00 p.m. Mass will take place at St. Rita’s Catholic Church located at 954 S. O Street Tulare, CA on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at North Tulare Public Cemetery located at 4572 North J Street, Tulare, CA.

FRANCISCO G. FERRUMPAU
Francisco G. Ferrumpau
Francisco G. Ferrumpau passed away peacefully in Tulare on October 31, 2025. He was born in the Azores on September 17, 1938, and lived a full life devoted to faith, family, and hard work. He had 3 brothers and 5 sisters who loved him dearly.
Francisco is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Maria L, his daughters Fernanda and Lucy, his grandson Steven, and his 2 brothers and 1 sister
He is lovingly remembered by his sons Frank, Manuel, Joe, Ray, Jorge, and daughter Luci Fatima. He was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless joy. He is also survived by one brother and four sisters who loved him dearly.
Francisco spent much of his life working as a milker, a career he took great pride in for many years. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening, tending to his plants with care and patience. Family gatherings, laughter, and simple moments in nature were what he cherished most.
Francisco will be remembered for his gentle heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service, 132 W. Kern Ave., Tulare, CA 93274. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 954 S. O St., Tulare, CA 93274. Interment will take place at Tulare Public Cemetery, 4573 J St., Tulare, CA 93274. A reception will follow at his home, 1524 S. Marion St., Tulare, CA 93274. He will be deeply missed, but forever.

JOSE JAVIER MORA ZAMORA
Jose was born in Michoacan, Mexico, on November 30, 1994. He passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2024, in Tulare, California, at the age of 30.

BEATRIZ G. SANTOS
Ascended into Heaven on Tuesday, October 14th in Tulare, CA, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 29, 1938, in Agualva, Terceira Acores to Elvira and Joao Parreira. In 1976 at the age of 38, she immigrated to the United States with her husband, children, and her Father. Beatriz was Catholic and a woman of faith. She loved to crochet blankets.
Beatriz is preceded in death by her; by her husband Jose P. Santos, and her sons and daughters, Fernando, Elena, Lilia, Antonio, and Jose D. Santos, and by her parents Elvira and Joao Parreira, by her sister Cremilde Ormonde and brother Lionel Parreira, by her sister-in -law Lucia Parreira, by her son-in-laws Jose Oliveira and Isaac Ramirez. She is survived by children Elvira (late Jose Oliveira), Alda (late Isaac Ramirez), Luis, and Terry Santos, and by her daughter-in-law Filomena Santos (late Antonio Santos), and one brother Manuel Parreira, and one sister-in-law Guerette, and one brother-in-law Jose Ormonde (late Cremilde Ormonde) and by 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday October 28th, 2025 at 9:00-9:30 AM at St. Rita’s Church 9545 O Street Tulare, CA. Rosary to follow at 9:30 AM and Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment, Tulare District Cemetery.

CARSON PAUL SHARLEY
Carson Paul Sharley born at Tulare District Hospital 3/9/1952 to Norma Jeanne Eddlemon of Texas and Robert Brenanmen Sharley. Attended Tulare Schools, graduated from Tulare Union High in 1970. Attended COS for 1 year then enlisted in the army and spent 4 years in Germany. On returning home he went to work at Land O Lakes until he retired.
Married Raeme Denise Bassett in 2000.
He had 2 children Casey Sharley Labelle(Chris) and Carson Paul Sharley Jr. (Kate) one bonus daughter Stancie Kinser(Eric) one brother Bob Sharley(Teresa) 7 grandchildren Mackenzie Gruzas,Sofie Labelle, Chloe Labelle. Karsyn Sharley, Lincoln Sharley, Blake Kinser, Kaydence Kinser, one great grandson Kai Harris, many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held November 14th at Vejars from 2-5 P.M.

Arlene was born July 10, 1960 In California. She passed away Sunday October 5, 2025 in Visalia, California at the age of 65.

Rutilo was born on December 8, 1987 in Michoacan, Mexico. He passed away Thursday October 2, 2025 in Tulare, California at the age of 37.

LEROY EMANUEL TRIPPEL
Leroy Emanuel Trippel went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the age of 79. Leroy was born to Emanuel and Alice Trippel on February 17, 1946, in Fresno, CA. Leroy married Wanda Colvin on March 10, 1973. They resided in Tulare, California, and were married for 48 years until her passing, on their 48th wedding anniversary, in 2021. Leroy had a sister, Carroll Nowell(deceased), and is survived by his brother Rick Trippel and his wife Jeannie, along with several nieces and nephews.
Leroy attended Fort Miller Jr. High, McLane High, and was a graduate of Fresno State. He joined the Army National Guard and spent six years serving his country. Leroy worked in banking, where he met many friends who remained in his life after his retirement. Leroy enjoyed classic cars and auto racing. He owned several classic cars and loved restoring them. He shared this hobby with many of his closest friends.
Leroy was a hard-working, kind-hearted, wise, and generous man who will be missed by his family and many close friends. A Celebration of life will be held at Peers- Lorentzen Funeral Home, 132 W. Kern

CELINA N. FERREIRA
Celina Ferreira, 91, ascended into Heaven on Saturday, September 27, in Tulare, CA, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 16, 1934, in Altares, Terceira, Acores to Herminia and Jose Coelho. In 1968, at the age of 34, she immigrated to the United States with her husband and children, and became a United States Citizen in 1973. Celina was a devout Catholic and a woman of faith. She loved reading, especially about the history of various Saints, and crocheting blankets. Celina is preceded in death by: her husband, Luiz Ferreira; her infant son, Jose Serafim Ferreira; her parents, Herminia & Jose Coelho; her brother, Jasmelino Coelho; and her son-in-law, Antonio Santos. She is survived by: her children, Herminia (Constantino) Canto, Luis (Teresa) Ferreira, Ilda (Domingos) Dinis, Filomena (the late Antonio) Santos, Joe Ferreira, and Nadine (Louie) Ourique; 2 sisters, Vielmina Lemos and Leonilde Simoes; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
